Goal is to establish a specific rounding method for employee late arrivals.
Scenario: An employee arrives 20 minutes late and is not immediately docked. The 20 minutes are banked along with other late arrivals for the pay period. Accumulated arrivals are docked in 30 minute increments, rounding back to the nearest half hour.
For example, Monday, I arrive 20 minutes late and Friday I arrive 15 minutes late. One half hour is deducted from the total hours worked in the pay period (i.e., 35 minutes - rounded back to the nearest 30 minutes).
Another week I arrive 20 minutes late on Monday, 15 minutes late on Wednesday, and 35 minutes late on Thursday; 60 minutes are deducted from the total hours worked in the pay period. (70 minutes rounded to the nearest 30).
