A Manual Schedule Build option is available if, for example,a Master or Rotation Schedule changes or employee assignments have changed. to use this feature the following steps must be adhered to:
- Clicking on a specific hierarchy will display the schedule for those employees. You is prompted to select a Date after selecting the Build Schedule button. This date denotes the week for the schedule to be built.
- Also, you may select the Apply this Action to all Employees button. This option is best if you want to include all the employees in the selected hierarchy. If you do not select this you will have to individually select the employees for which you wish to build a new schedule.
- The Overwrite option is also available from this screen. This option gives the user the choice of overwriting existing schedules. If existing schedules are to be overwritten, the system will delete the existing schedule and replace it with a new schedule.
Note: A week of blank daily schedules is considered “scheduled.” For the purpose of overwriting, the weeks with blank daily schedules are considered to be non-scheduled; the schedule is built for those weeks even when the user opts to not overwrite existing schedules.
